Pour une fois, j'ai trouvé le point de Sharon dans mon bouquin en français. Il s'agit du point de feston noué, "knotted buttonhole stitch" dans la langue de Shakespeare. Ce point est plus difficile qu'il n'en a l'air. Il faut bien veiller à serrer correctement le fil avant de tirer l'aiguille pour faire le noeud et finir le point de feston. Voici ma ligne d'exercice pour la semaine :

Care must be taken to properly tighten the thread before pulling the needle to the knot and to close the buttohole stitch. Here is my practice line for this week :

Yes, tension is tricky but a lot of designs can be made. I think Pauline's line of stitches is charming, grass blowing in the wind or the Loch Ness monster Nessie and her sisters out for a swim!

Supprimerseems this stitch is causing problems to quite a few stitchers, have to own up to not having had a go yet. Yours looks very neat and even and once again Pauline has risen to the challenge.

SupprimerPas mal de possibilités avec ce point, j'ai l'impression. Tu l'as fait bien régulier, quelle maîtrise ! Je ne l'ai pas essayé celui-ci non plus. Je deviens paresseuse avec l'apprentissage, depuis que j'ai décroché du TAST systématique.
